GENEBRE Industrial – Safety Valves & Pressure Relief Valves

Overview

As part of Genebre’s Industrial Line, Safety Valves (Válvulas de Seguridad) are engineered to protect pressurized systems by releasing excess pressure automatically in applications involving steam and gas. These valves are designed, calculated, and verified following strict European standards (EN 12516, EN 4126-1/7), ensuring reliable safety performance across industrial processes.

Construction & Materials

Genebre safety valves are manufactured with high-quality stainless steel bodies (1.4408 / CF8M) and stainless steel AISI 316 seats and discs, delivering excellent corrosion resistance and durability in harsh environments. The valves are available with various end connections — BSP threaded (ISO 228/1), NPT threaded or flanged PN16/40 — suitable for a wide range of system requirements.

Operation & Performance

These safety valves are calibrated for set pressures from approximately 0.5 barg up to 40 barg and can operate under temperatures from about −20 °C to +300 °C. The spring-loaded mechanism automatically opens to relieve overpressure conditions and return to the closed position once normal pressure resumes. Manual lever options are also available on specific models for controlled opening during maintenance or testing.
